A competitive travel team built around advanced development, baseball IQ, execution under pressure, and preparing players for the demands of older baseball.
2026–2027 • ROSTER FULL
Eligibility: Players must be born after April 30, 2015.
The 11U Banditos continue the same development-first philosophy at a higher competitive level. Players are expected to arrive ready to work, accept coaching, understand increasingly complex situations, and apply what they learn when the game speeds up.
We are not interested in becoming a team that stops developing because the players are already competitive. The better the player becomes, the higher the standard becomes.
Position-specific movement, execution, reads, and repeatable technique.
Anticipation, situational awareness, communication, and understanding the game before the ball is put in play.
Speed, strength, mobility, coordination, body control, yoga, and continued athletic growth.
Learning to perform against stronger competition and execute when pressure increases.
Our 11U coaching staff is responsible for continuing to challenge players technically, physically, mentally, and strategically as the level of competition increases.
Jordan Dove is the founder and driving force behind Eastside Baseball Academy Banditos, building the program around one simple belief: great players should be developed, not collected.
A Las Vegas native and longtime baseball coach & former collegiate player, Jordan has spent years refining a development system centered on fundamentals, advanced technique, baseball IQ, physical development, accountability, and learning how to compete with purpose. His coaching background includes serving as the former Head Coach of the Las Vegas High School Summer Baseball Program and leading the 702 Slumpbusters, a college-prep summer baseball program designed to help older players compete at a higher level and prepare for opportunities beyond high school.
His development philosophy was also proven through the Southern Nevada Bruins with Jerome Byndloss, where players developed over time into high-level competitors, Division I athletes, and legitimate college and professional prospects. But for Jordan, the measure of a program has never been how talented a roster looks on day one. It is how much better those players become because they were part of it.
That philosophy is at the center of EBA Banditos.
Jordan believes young players should be taught the entire game — not simply given more tournaments to play. Practices are intentional, expectations are high, and every repetition has a purpose. Players learn how to throw, hit, defend, move, think, communicate, respond to failure, and understand what the game is asking of them before the ball is ever put in play.
His experience coaching players from the youth level through high-school and college-prep baseball gives him a long-term perspective on development. The goal is not to create players who peak at 10 or 11 years old. It is to build the skills, habits, baseball IQ, physical foundation, and mentality that continue to matter as the field gets bigger and the competition gets better.
His vision extends far beyond one team or one age group. Through EBA Banditos, the 702 Slumpbusters, and the Danny Dove Foundation, Jordan is committed to growing baseball in East Las Vegas, creating opportunities for first-generation baseball families, developing future coaches, and building a sustainable pathway for players as they progress through the game.
The ultimate goal is not to build the best youth team.
It is to build ballplayers. Build leaders. Build coaches. And leave behind a system that continues working long after the original group has moved on.
Carlos has grown within the Banditos development system and has quickly established himself as a leader who truly understands what the program is trying to build. His energy, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and commitment to teaching players the right way are exactly what we look for in a coach. He has fully embraced the development-first philosophy and continues to grow alongside his players.
Carlos is being developed not only as a head coach, but as a future leader of the EBA Banditos program — someone capable of carrying the same development system, expectations, and culture forward as the organization continues to grow.
Robert serves as the program’s official statistician and analytics lead, helping turn performance data into actionable development. He tracks player trends, identifies areas of opportunity, and works with the coaching staff to translate information into purposeful practice workloads and training priorities. His role helps ensure that development is not based on guesswork, but on measurable progress and intentional repetition.
Enrique is fully invested in the Banditos development model and has continued to grow as a coach within the system. He brings consistency, energy, and a strong willingness to learn, while helping reinforce the fundamentals, expectations, and habits that define the program. His commitment to the players and belief in the development process make him an important part of the coaching staff.
Norberto is committed to helping grow the game of baseball in East Las Vegas while providing young players with a positive, structured environment to develop. He emphasizes fundamentals, accountability, teamwork, and helping players build confidence through preparation and repetition. His focus extends beyond the field, with a strong belief in creating opportunities for the next generation of Eastside ballplayers.
Erica is one of the key people who keeps the Banditos program running smoothly behind the scenes. She helps coordinate parent communication, team logistics, ordering, travel planning, fundraising, and the countless day-to-day details that allow the coaching staff to stay focused on player development.
She also plays an important role in documenting the program through photography, capturing practices, games, tournaments, travel, and team moments throughout the season. Many of the images used across the EBA Banditos website and social media come directly from Erica’s work, helping tell the story of the players, families, and experiences that make the program what it is.
Her role sits at the intersection of organization, communication, and storytelling — making sure families stay informed, events stay organized, and the moments that define the program are preserved.
Rayce brings a unique element to the Banditos development system through yoga, mobility, body awareness, and mental performance. As the owner of Downtown Yoga, he helps players improve movement quality, flexibility, balance, breathing, recovery, and body control while also introducing a more intentional approach to focus and mindset. His work gives players tools to move more efficiently, manage pressure, and develop a stronger connection between the mental and physical sides of performance.
Roman helps tell the story of EBA Banditos and the 702 Slumpbusters through video, photography, and digital media. As a Las Vegas high school student and developing creative entrepreneur, he brings energy, creativity, and a unique perspective to the way the program is documented and shared.
Roman’s role represents something bigger than content creation.
One of the pillars of the Danny Dove Foundation is helping young people discover their talents, build real-world skills, create opportunities, and develop the confidence to turn those abilities into something meaningful. Through his work with the Banditos and 702 Slumpbusters, Roman has been given the opportunity to build his portfolio, grow his network, work with real organizations, and gain hands-on experience in sports media and entrepreneurship.
His work helps preserve the moments that define the program — the development, the competition, the travel, the relationships, and the memories players and families will carry with them.
A competitive group committed to continued development, higher-level baseball, accountability, and representing the program the right way.
At this stage, development becomes more detailed. Players are expected to sharpen fundamentals while learning to execute faster, make better decisions, and handle greater responsibility.
Arm strength, accuracy, throwing on the move, position-specific throws, quick exchanges, and executing from different arm angles and body positions.
Advanced footwork, reads, angles, communication, transfers, positioning, and understanding the responsibilities of each defensive role.
Pitch recognition, count awareness & leverage, timing, barrel control, high-level swing patterns, situational hitting, adjustments, and mental approaches.
Pre-pitch awareness, cutoffs, enhanced relays, double-cuts, bunt defenses, first-and-third situations, trick plays, situational positioning, and anticipating the next play.
Reads, jumps, secondary leads, straight steals, early, delay & fake steals, first-to-third decisions, dirt-ball reads, hit & runs, tagging, and learning when to aggressively pressure a defense.
Slowing the game down, responding to mistakes, making decisions faster, and executing against stronger competition when every play matters.
The schedule is built to support development first — using practices, scrimmages, league play, and tournaments to reinforce what players are learning.
Practice schedules may occasionally adjust based on field availability, tournaments, weather, or program needs.
Schedule subject to change.

GAMECHANGERThis is the major event we build toward all year. The 11U Banditos will spend a full week at Ballparks of America competing against teams from around the country, staying together as a team, and experiencing baseball in a true tournament destination environment.
The goal goes beyond the games. Players prepare all season to compete at a high level, then get the chance to share a week-long experience with their teammates and families. It is equal parts competition, team bonding, and baseball family vacation — the kind of week players remember long after the final out.
• WEEK-LONG TEAM EXPERIENCE — Players stay together and experience the tournament as a group
• NATIONAL COMPETITION — Compete against programs from outside our local market.
• BASEBALL FAMILY VACATION — A major summer trip built around baseball, family, and memories.
We still have limited room for players who fit the development model, are willing to work, and are ready to commit to the program
Eligibility: Players must be born after April 30, 2016.
